Know many of you have been waiting patiently for this and the day finally has arrived. Our twin engine Travel Air, N9305Y is now back in service with some cool new avionics. In short we removed all the old steam gauge instruments and replaced them with 3 EI CGR-30s. We also took out the old Garmin 430W and installed a newer Avidyne 540 in it's place. Finally we upgraded our transponder from the old school with tail beacon to a full ADS-B Out transponder.
Our useful load increased by 60+lbs with this upgrade as well. Come check her out at Newton for your twin engine training!
