Augusta Flight Center Announces Partnership with Global Aviation Technologies to expand operation into KICT

A lot of you have likely heard about this already or at least heard rumors of it happening. It's now official, Augusta Flight Center (JoeBravo Aviation LLC) has a location at KICT! We've talked and partnered with Global Aviation Technologies to make this happen and will be working with them going forward. This partnership will allow AFC to have planes on the west side of town while still teaching in the same planes and with the same CFIs that you've come to know and fly with.

With Global Aviation Technologies' expertise in aircraft maintenance and care, AFC can ensure that all aircraft rented or used for training are kept in top condition, promoting safety and reliability for all pilots. This partnership will also bring our top-notch flight training to a new market, while providing flexibility to students.

We will be sending out information on the details of the Standard Ops soon for our KICT location for those of you wanting to take advantage of the shorter drive. Please read over these carefully and call or email us with any questions once you receive them.

As for the big question, which aircraft are moving and pricing. A fixture of the fleet, our C172N N733TK along with our new PA-28-151, N1108X. Being at KICT means gas is at a higher price and therefore a higher hourly cost. For now, the hourly price at KICT will be starting at $160 per hour for either aircraft, wet without tax.

We have several CFIs that are either already trained or will be trained so they can provide instruction at KICT. These will include Joe Bertapelle, Brady Mounts, Alex Tsakr, Zach Carney, among others.  If you're wanting to fly out of KICT please coordinate with your CFI who will be able to help you with the process.

The expansion into the KICT airport will allow AFC | JBA to share their passion for aviation with a new community of aviation enthusiasts. We invite you to come and join us on this exciting journey.

Thank you, The AFC Team
